Size & Fit Guide
Size & Fit Guide
Each product page includes measurements for that particular garment, and those measurements always take precedence. Use this guide to take your own measurements accurately and to convert between sizing systems.
How to Measure
Use a soft tape measure over light clothing. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight.
- Chest: around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
- Waist: around your natural waistline, where your trousers usually sit.
- Hips: around the fullest part of the hips, feet together.
- Neck: around the base of the neck, where a shirt collar sits, with one finger inside the tape.
- Sleeve: from the centre back of the neck, over the shoulder and down to the wrist bone, with the arm slightly bent.
- Inside leg: from the top of the inner thigh to where you would like the trouser hem to finish.
Between Sizes?
For outerwear and knitwear that you will layer, choose the larger size. For tailored pieces that you would like to sit close to the body, choose the smaller. If you are unsure, email support@alderon-uk.com with your measurements and the piece you are considering, and we will advise — and every order comes with free returns within 60 days.
