Terms of service

Terms of Service

Welcome to Alderon. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website https://alderon-uk.com and your purchase of products from our online store. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund and Returns Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website.

1. About Us

Alderon is an online retailer based in the United Kingdom, offering premium clothing and accessories.

Contact: support@alderon-uk.com

2. Eligibility

By placing an order with us, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age (if you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order on your behalf)
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete

3. Products and Pricing

All product descriptions, images and prices are provided in good faith and are correct at the time of publication. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, images or prices at any time; changes will not affect orders we have already accepted. We may also limit the quantity of items purchased per customer.

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.

Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to the conditions stated at the time of the offer, cannot be combined unless we say otherwise, and may be withdrawn at any time. Where an offer is described as "up to" a certain discount, the discount on individual items varies and is shown on each product page.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Before submitting your order, you can review it and correct any input errors on the checkout page. We will send you an order confirmation by email acknowledging receipt of your order; this does not mean your order has been accepted. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch confirmation. Our contract with you is concluded in English.

We may refuse or cancel an order before dispatch in the following cases:

  • Product unavailability
  • An obvious error in the product description or price
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Failure to meet our eligibility criteria

If we cancel your order, we will tell you by email and refund any payment received in full, without undue delay.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which include major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Your payment method is charged in pounds sterling (GBP) when you place your order. If your card or account is held in another currency, your provider will convert the amount at its own exchange rate and may charge a fee, which we do not control.

All payments are processed securely through encrypted third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

6. Delivery

Delivery options, costs and estimated timeframes are shown at checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy. Where a delivery timeframe is stated for the option you select, we will deliver within that timeframe; otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of your order. If we fail to do so, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.

You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided, and ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

7. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for full details on how to return items and receive refunds.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

In particular, you have the right to:

  • Receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described
  • Cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the statutory cooling-off period — in addition, our Refund and Returns Policy offers a 60-day returns window subject to its conditions
  • Reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and thereafter to a repair or replacement, or a refund if that is not possible

9. Intellectual Property

All content on https://alderon-uk.com — including text, images, logos, graphics, designs and software — is the property of Alderon or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. The Alderon name and logo may not be used without our prior written consent.

You may view and print content from our website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not otherwise reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Transmit viruses, malware or any harmful code
  • Harass, abuse or harm any other person through our platform
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access our site

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website if you violate these Terms.

11. Our Liability to You

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any business losses, as our products are supplied for private use only.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
  • Your statutory rights in relation to the goods, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law

12. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions or interruptions in supply chains. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. If the delay is likely to be substantial, you may cancel your order and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.

13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@alderon-uk.com and we will do our best to resolve it promptly. We are not currently members of an alternative dispute resolution scheme and are not obliged to use one.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a resident of Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer resident outside the UK, you will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated date. Changes will not affect orders placed before the change. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
